This year, the Global Outreach team, including Pastors Wilberforce and Sarah Okumu and Scott Ingram organized a first-of-its-kind missions conference in Kampala, Uganda.

This three-day event brought together leaders from around Uganda and Africa to discuss what it looks like to "Make Uganda a Sending Nation." After all, the gospel has been preached consistently to the Ugandan people for over 180 years. It is now time for them to take what they have received and give it away to those who still need to hear.

Other guest speakers in the lineup included Dr. Sabino Daniel Jakoi of House of God for All Nations in Juba, South Sudan, Dr. Peter Kasirivu of Gaba Community Church and founder of Africa Renewal Ministries in Kampala, Dr. Francis Kashimawo of CAPRO Missions, based in Nigeria, and Pastor Gerald Mwebe of Streams of Life Ministries, Kampala.

This conference is set to become an annual event in Uganda, and in other nations, including plans for Juba, South Sudan, in the summer of 2024.
