On a recent trip to Kenya, Ap. John Mwangi took Scott Ingram to visit the two newest churches in our network. We were blessed to see passionate leaders who strongly desire people to grow in Christ.

The first visit was to Sozo Ministries Church in Racecourse, which is a fairly affluent and international area of Nairobi. Scott spoke about the call to "make disciples" and why many of our efforts in evangelism and church planting will fail if we do not keep this long-term goal in focus. Although many of the members were working during our visit, most of the founding members were able to attend, and it was a wonderful time.

The second visit was to Sozo Ministries Church in Mirichu, which is high in the hills, just a couple of hours from Nairobi. Though this church has been with us for over a year, Scott had not been able to visit on previous trips to Kenya. While there, Scott preached on "Faith for Greater Works", and during prayer after the service, there were at least 4 healings that took place. (You can watch the Muchiru session below.)

We thank God for His continued work among Sozo Ministries International, and we pray He will continue to empower our leaders and keep our churches moving in evangelism and discipleship.

Thank you for your support of our church planting and leadership development in East Africa and beyond. We cannot do it without you! If you’d like to make a one-time or a recurring gift to Sozo Ministries, you can do so tax-free:
