After two years of building relationships, mentoring, talking theology and practical ministry, the Lord has said it is time for Sozo Ministries to expand our church network into India. We are now happy to welcome Pastor Jeeva, Pastor Victor, their family, and the church members of Jesus Cross Church to the Sozo Ministries family! (They have determined to change the church name to Sozo Ministries Church, but the paperwork will take some time.)

Pastor Jeeva was born again from a culturally religious family and felt a call to ministry soon after. He and his wife launched the church in 2001 and have faithfully built into God's Kingdom since.

For the past few years, they have been building a two-story building that housed their family downstairs and a new worship space upstairs. With the worship space ready to be commissioned, they decided to coincide the building dedication with the official launch as part of Sozo Ministries. The celebration was held on May 9th and was attended by many respected Christian leaders, including Ap. Scott, who was welcomed to witness the occasion and deliver the official membership certificates.

The main theme of the day was the call to 'Make Disciples of All Nations' (Matthew 28:18-20), which coincides well with the Sozo annual theme of "Grow Up" from Ephesians 4:15. After the guest speaker preached, there was a powerful time of impartation, with many in the congregation being baptized in the Holy Spirit.

We pray that these first fruits will continue to grow in this church and as Pastor Jeeva expands the ministry further! Please keep them covered in prayer!!!

Please note that Sozo Ministries in India is ONLY for spiritual covering and fellowship of like-minded churches. It does not give legal or financial covering for churches or ministries. Therefore all churches desiring to join must have their own government registration and systems of accountability in place already. Click here for more information.
